Rating by category:
The room was spacious and the element of privacy was the most appealing set in a very scenic location.
the setup makes room service a little difficult if it rains. The hotel should consider getting a golf cart for the purpose of transporting the food to the rooms.
Big, comfortable room with balcony overlooking golf course. Hotel was just off the main road and well sign-posted. Good selection of food for breakfast with special selection for children. Buffet-style evening meal was also good and reasonably priced for a hotel.
I was not given a room golf course facing.Although I had proof of booking there was some confusion regarding my booking.I Was given a suite over looking thr front of the hotel.
The breakfast and supper was way too expensive to book!
(he head chef (Conrad)was very helpful.
I was very disappointed with the service at breakfast-waited for Half an hour for tea(which has to be requested)Breakfast is not included in cost, which should be.-!But I would not recommend this hotel.
bar closed @ 23;00, surly staff No golf course view as booked, only a town house development roofs out of the patio. no table or chairs on the patio no settee in the room.
Room superb. Spacious, well equipped and lit. Corner position provided golf course view with mountain background and pleasant secondary view. Bathroom efficient and clean but poorly lit and cheaply finished. All public areas spacious bright and airy. Restaurant and bar pleasant but staff, whilst friendly and helpful were poorly trained. Over all, very good value for money.
Buffet dinner is ok for one night but no real element of choice if staying longer
Large rooms and balconies overlooking the golf course
Price of breakfast if you only wanted a quick snack like a croisant with ham in
We really enjoyed our stay at The King George. Your Staff was exellent and your Kitchen staff also very good. We were always treated with respect and even your room service was good. Well "breakfasts" is a problem as we will have to go on a diet to get rid of all the extra "kilojoules" but it was all worth it. Thanks for having us as your guests.
Buffet dinner and breakfast for the amount of money charged and the alacarte menu leaves little to be desired
I was very impressed with their "excellent" service. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast was also very good. Love their garden, it really create a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Fantastic breakfast buffet.
The tables in the room could do with a sanding and a new coat of varnish. Room 323.
The room was comfortable and clean and the view was very nice.
The shower in the bath, with the curtain.
Beds were very comfortable.
Staff were very unhelpful and moody. Sub-standard food, too noisy.
No WiFi in my room, despite the hotel advertising WiFi in all rooms!
